These routes could use dedicated lanes or shoulders during peak periods as well as transit signal priority, and branded stations for boarding. The study for the San Pedro and St. Mary's/Roosevelt (North-South Greenline Corridor) which work components included advanced project definition (APD) is complete and has resulted in the corridor entering the Project Development phase of the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) Capital Investment Grant (CIG) Program in August 2021. The Greenline's design is ongoing however it has received environmental clearance. The study for W. Commerce/Buena Vista/Market, and E Commerce (East-West Silver line) is still progressing and the project has also entered the Project Development phase of the FTA's CIG Program in October 2022. Preliminary engineering and environmental clearance are underway. After East-West corridor is complete then similar scope of work will proceed for the Northwest (Fredericksburg Road-SL 345) and Northeast (Broadway/Austin Hwy-LP 368) corridors.

VIA Northeast Passenger Facility
